74 Blazing Star Lane

74 Blazing Star
Escape to the water at Frogmore Fish Camp, a private Lowcountry getaway surrounded by tidal marsh, southerly breezes, ancient live oaks and wide-open views. Tucked away at the end of a quiet dirt road, the property feels wonderfully secluded while remaining just 25 minutes from downtown Beaufort, 10 minutes from Hunting Island State Park beaches and 40 minutes to Parris Island.

With room for up to eight guests across the Main House and detached Bunk House, Frogmore Fish Camp gives everyone space to stay together in a private waterfront setting—whether you’re attending a wedding at nearby venue, celebrating a Marine graduation at Parris Island, planning a fishing weekend or girls’ trip, or gathering the family for a few unhurried days by the water.

10 minutes from Hunting Island State Park, 20 minutes from downtown Beaufort and approximately 40 minutes from Parris Island

The Main House
The Main House accommodates up to six guests. The main level includes one king bedroom and one queen bedroom, both with sweeping marsh views. The upper-level loft features two twin beds with views across the marsh and treetops.

The open living and dining area is cozy and connected to the outdoors, with every window framing views of the marsh and live oaks. The indoor dining table seats six, but much of life at Frogmore happens outside—on the screened porch, along the dock and in the covered spaces beneath the house.

A fully equipped kitchen includes a vented gas range, stainless steel appliances, generous cabinetry, a large center island and a pantry. Prepare a leisurely breakfast, a family dinner or a proper Lowcountry seafood feast to eat in or outdoors.

Outdoor Living
The screened porch overlooks the water and offers a comfortable place to dine, relax and watch the marsh change with the tide. Downstairs, a spacious covered area provides additional room for cooking, gathering and enjoying the coastal breeze.
Follow the path to the private dock, where guests can fish, crab, watch the sunrise or simply take in the expansive views across the marsh.
The surrounding marsh is teeming with life—redfish, egrets and herons working the shoreline (and perching on the dock), songbirds filling the oaks, countless fiddler crabs emerging at low tide, and the occasional dolphin passing through the nearby river.

The Bunk House
Located just steps from the Main House, the detached Bunk House accommodates additional guests with three twin beds and a full bathroom. It offers extra space and privacy for older children, friends or extended family traveling together.

Explore the Sea Islands
Frogmore Fish Camp is exceptionally well situated for exploring St. Helena Island, with roadside farm stands, U-pick farms, dockside seafood markets, local galleries, shops and restaurants all nearby. Spend a day on the beach at Hunting Island State Park, rent kayaks from a local outfitter and paddle through the tidal creeks, wander through downtown Beaufort—or simply stay put and let the tide set the schedule.

When hunger strikes, you’re just a short drive from island favorites like Beedo’s, Seaside, The Shrimp Shack, JCT’s and Lowcountry Cider Co., along with plenty of roadside stops and local dives worth discovering.Golfers can book a round at the public Landing at Pleasant Point on Lady’s Island or The Legends at Parris Island, both within easy driving distance.
