What Time Is Check-In/ Check-Out?

Check-in begins at 4:00PM. Homes are not available for check-in earlier than 4:00PM unless you have purchased an early check-in option at the time of your reservation. Check-out is at 10:00AM on your departure day. Please remember to place the keys back into the lockbox when you depart.

What Is Your Payment Schedule?

There is a 50% deposit required to reserve our vacation properties, the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. If you would like to split payments on multiple cards please notify us at the time of booking.

What Is Provided With The Rental?

Both bed and bath linens are provided with our rentals. We stock each property with a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and detergents. The starter set will likely not last the entire duration of your stay. Please check property listings for specific property amenities.

Can We Bring A Golf Cart?

Golf cart regulations vary by community. Harbor Island does not allow renters to bring golf carts onto the Island, golf carts are only permitted if they are included in the rental. Fripp Island permits guests to bring golf carts but they must be registered and inspected first. Please contact TideWatch Vacations prior to bringing private golf carts.

What Are The Age Requirements To Rent A Property?

You must be at least 25 years old to rent any of our properties.

Where Do I Pick Up Keys?

Keys are provided in a lockbox outside of each rental property. You will receive a property specific check-in packet 7 days prior to your arrival via email. Included in this packet will be the lockbox code, parking instructions, Wi-Fi log-in, as well as additional information on the property.

What Is The Cancellation Policy?

Cancellations made thirty (30) days or more prior to the arrival will be refunded less an amount equal to ten (10) % of the deposit. If a cancellation is made within thirty (30) days of the arrival there will be no refund issued.

Is Accidental Damage Protection Required?

Damage Protection Plans are required for all our vacation rentals and are non-refundable. They protect both the guest and the homeowner in the event that any accidental damage occurs during the rental. Please be sure to report any damages to TideWatch Vacations prior to check-out.

What Are Amenity Cards?

Amenity Cards only relate to rentals on Fripp Island. In order to have access to the pools, restaurants, golf, tennis, or fitness center you must have an amenity card. If a property does not offer amenity cards you will not have access to Fripp Island Amenities. Anyone over the age of 12 is required to have any amenity card. Please keep in mind if a property does not have access to amenity cards they CAN NOT be purchased separately when you arrive.
