Sun, Moon, Stars and Marsh is what you will experience at our Marshside condo. Relax and enjoy nature just outside your door. Located in the Cedar Reef Condominium complex on Harbor Island SC with an unobstructed, first floor, marsh view overlooking Hunting Island State Park and a bit of the Atlantic. This is the first year our 1 bedroom one, 1 1/2 bath unit has been on the rental market since a major renovation. Marshside is our 2nd home and we have furnished the unit with most everything you need for your stay. Our goal is always relaxation and comfort. We do limit occupancy to two people and do not allow smoking in the unit.
Our south facing porch is sunny in the winter and provides plenty of shade in the summer. The building is one of only three which face the tidal marsh instead of other condos. That means a little more privacy when you relax in your rocking chair or the comfy cushioned chaise lounge. Step out of the private gate, down a half dozen stairs and walk one hundred steps to a beach access.
Our Marshside condo is only a short walk to all the amenities Harbor Island is known for: the Beachclub pool and kiddie pool, fitness room, volleyball, basketball, tennis and pickleball courts. In addition, Cedar Reef has two pools reserved for only Cedar Reef residents and our guests only. We provide our guests with a complimentary day pass to Hunting Island State Park including its beaches, nature center, pier and hiking trails. Harbor Island is listed by the National Audubon Society as an important area for birds. The island has several rookeries frequented by ibises, herons, cranes and other wading birds and a new viewing platform to view the nesting birds.
When you get tired of the sun and fun or need to contact the outside world, we provide high speed internet, two Smart TVs with cable. All windows and the marsh side door have plantation shutters that provide as much privacy as you want. The bedroom has a very comfortable new queen bed, dresser, and bedside tables. The master bath has a large tile walk in shower and the kitchen is equipped with granite counters, a washer/dryer and new appliances.
Whether you’re a repeat visitor or the first time to the lowcountry. You are bound to enjoy your stay at Marshside condo.
No parties or events. Renters must be 25 or older.
The Harbor Island pool is open from April 1 - November 1.
** Please note there is enough parking for up to 1 vehicle at this property. Parking spaces are unassigned for Cedar Reef Villas **
Harbor Island Owners Association require a gate pass to gain access to the private island. GATE PASSES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Vehicle gate pass fees are per vehicle, set by the Island and are subject to change. The current rates are; for a day pass $25.00; 2 nights $35.00; 3 nights $45.00; 4 nights $55.00; 5 nights $65.00; 6 nights $75.00; 7 nights $85.00; 8-30 nights $140.00; 31-364 nights $215.00.
