Thank you for taking the time to look at our little piece of heaven on Harbor Island. This 2nd floor condo has panoramic views over the dunes to the ocean. It has one bedroom with a queen size bed, one full bath and one 1/2 bath. The couch is a queen sleeper sofa. We provide all linens and towels, including beach towels, as well as a fully equipped kitchen.The condo complex provides outdoor grilling stations for you to use. There is free use of washer and dryer on site just a short walk down the hallway. We offer cable tv and WiFi internet. There is a 56in TV in the living room as well as in the bedroom.
There is no land line phone, so a cell phone is a must. There are 3 pools for you and your family to enjoy. The main pool is at the beach and racquet club and is a short walk. At the Beach and Racquet Club you can rent bicycles, play volleyball, go to the gym, or your kids can enjoy the playground. Harbor Island also offers tennis courts and a basketball court. Harbor Island offers you to go crabbing, fishing on the docks and a golf practice area.
Harbor Island is a gated community with 24/7 hour security. It boasts 2.5 miles of white sand beach and untouched dunes. If you are looking for shopping outlets, mini golf, and bars you will hate! Harbor Island. If you are looking for a laid back, private island with over 2 miles of dunes and sugar sand beach that has no public access and is always uncrowded you have found paradise.
We are located 14 miles East of historic downtown Beaufort, SC and Parris Island. Historic downtown Beaufort is a must see. The town is a friendly walking community with many boutiques and restaurants. You can take a horse drawn carriage tour under the moss covered live oaks past breathtaking antebellum homes, historic churches, and movie sites. Johnson Creek Tavern is 1 mile from the condo featuring local seafood and has indoor and outdoor seating. The Shrimp Shack featured in Coastal Living is 3 miles from the condo and is open for lunch only. Be sure to stop at Publix or Walmart which are the closest full grocery stores on your way out of Beaufort after you cross Lady’s Island Bridge on route 21, approximately 15 miles before you reach Harbor Island.
Hunting Island State Park is 2 miles South of the condo and is a favorite attraction. The Hunting Island lighthouse was constructed in 1859 and re-built in 1875 after the Civil War. 167 steps will take you to the top for a fabulous view. Hunting Island State Park also offers 5 miles of beach, great trails to run or walk, a nature center and picnic shelter. Free pass to Hunting state park is included with the rental.
